Synopsis
Genre: Comedy, Supernatural
In a world where supernatural creatures exist but remain hidden. Lycanthropy is one of the hardest to hide as it forces their hosts to transform every night instead of once a month on a full moon. Because of this, werewolves either stay in civilization but indoors every night, eventually becoming shut-ins or living out their lives in the wilderness. If discovered, they'll be hunted by monster hunters, and men in black-type G-Men will make it so they never existed. Our story takes place within a small pack in the forest that had been scaring off intruders from their territory. But they are going through hard times after finding out humans no longer deemed werewolves scary, and are being mistaken for furries, losing their only deterrent against humans, they seek help from an old associate of their oldest member, Larry, the original Wolf-Man who played in the old films, after learning from him that vampires are running Hollywood. But when they arrived, they received a very bloody welcome. They vowed revenge by messing up their plans and doing whatever it takes to be popular and no longer be compared to the furry fandom.
I already plotted out the first season.
Characters
Fang
Fang was born a werewolf. Due to his upbringing, the self-proclaimed alpha prefers the wilderness over civilization and wearing clothes. This preference stems from the death of his civilized birth parents at the hands of monster hunters. In response, he turned away from his humanity and spent much of his life embracing the wild instead. Eventually, Claw, a pack leader in charge of a tribe that had isolated itself from society, took him in. Claw taught him to embrace his inner wolf and gave him the new name, Fang. He was groomed to be the next alpha, but after a falling out with his father figure, Fang decided to leave and create a pack of his own and dreamed of having one as big as Claw’s. He takes great pride in being a werewolf and despises anything that undermines it, such as being compared to a furry.
Yippee
Yippee is the newest and youngest member of the pack. He’s also the most modern and tech-savvy out of the four of them. He dyes his fur a different color every day and has a strong online presence within the furry community with the fursuits he’s been selling. He was turned shortly after graduating high school while he was drunk, so he doesn’t remember the incident and wasn’t aware he became a werewolf until it was too late. Unlike how newly turned werewolves typically react, Yippee was ecstatic, given that he was already a furry. Too bad he transformed at the worst possible moment, resulting in him losing everything. Ostracized by his loved ones out of fear and disgust, Yippee was disowned and abandoned to fend for himself. However, he wasn’t alone for long, as he found a pack that accepted and needed him. He chose his online handle as his werewolf name and has gone by it ever since.
Larry
He’s the oldest member of the pack. Back in the late 1920s, Larry was a family man with a wife and two kids. During a camping trip, he got attacked by a werewolf, resulting in the werewolf dying and him being bitten. The concept of lycanthropy wasn’t well known yet, so he thought it was a form of rabies and sought medical attention. This raised flags within the medical and supernatural community, and he almost got tortured and killed for it, but he was saved by monsters like him who told him what he was and offered to bring awareness to other werewolves about what they were and a way to protect them. By becoming the first werewolf movie star, the Wolf-Man! Without him, there wouldn’t have been a monster cinematic universe, and the general population wouldn’t believe werewolves only transform during the full moon and not every night and succeeded in protecting werewolves. Or so he believes. Years later, after his latest movie, he realized his age had slowed and decided to leave everything behind, including his family, not wanting to see them die of old age or become werewolves themselves to be with him. So he faked his death and changed his name to Larry, the same name as the character plays in his films. After decades of moving from one place to another, he finally found a pack to settle down in. He looks the same as his theatrical counterpart but older.
Woof
Not much is known about Woof. He doesn't remember his life before he became a werewolf and is stuck in the form of a regular wolf 24/7. So much so that even he believed he was one before joining the pack. The only indication that he is a werewolf is the glasses he now wears and the ability to retain human speech. Whenever he's in public, he's forced to wear an emotional support animal vest and pretend to be a trained husky. He's the most literate in the pack and likes to quote whatever he reads. But even though he acts sophisticated, his current form makes it difficult to resist his instincts and lacks common sense. He tends to be somewhat of a conspiracy theorist, has knowledge of espionage, and knows how to access shady things such as the dark web, which leads the pack to question what he did in his human life.
